Working Out

I had to work out today. It hurt a lot and I'm already sore, but I'm really excited for the rest of the semester. I hope to enhance my level of fitness and hope that you all decide that leading a healthy life is right for you. Have a wonderful day! Eat an apple or something. ♥

Tiny (On a Solar Scale)

On a planet, floating there

into space and lacking air

I see you, do you see me?

Tiny specs of galaxy.

Yes, we know

But we don't try

Should we go

or stay and die?

Microscopic

Not a care

Oh so fragile

without air

Missing you

I cannot breathe

You're not here

not holding me

I had my doubts

but still I stayed

I dealt with every

game you played

Now I'm alone

seeing stars

going fast

and going far

Past the moon

and onto mars

badly hurting

from your scars

No one holds me

no one tries

no ties to Earth

away I fly

I feel so small

as if in space

I crash and crawl

cover my face

I once did love you

Venus knows

but you're of Mars

away you go

We fight

I cry

It's fight

or fly

In space we are

I matter not

worthless flesh

a tiny dot

I really did

I tried to stay

but without you

I float away

I felt so strong

at least I thought

I was so wrong

no, never, not

Across the Milky way

through the sun

I wanted love

not wrongful fun

I'm here with you

but long to go

out into space

where no one knows

I try so hard

to cry and scream

but whining

never solved a thing

Summer

Hot days mark the end of yet another school year and the start of my favorite season! Going to the pool, drinking lemonade, eating snow cones, sleeping in...need I go on? Summer is brilliant. I hope this turns into a great three months for everyone! ♥

Theatre

I've been asked why I do theatre before, and I just wanted to explain. In case, y'know, you wanted to know.

I do theatre not for attention, not for popularity, not because I plan on making a career out of it, I do theatre because there is nothing in the world like losing yourself onstage. There's no other way I know to be transferred to another world, to be another person, to live a different life. I do theatre because there's nothing I love more. ♥

End of School, Beginning of ...?

I realized not to long ago that I was really sad to see this school year coming to its end. Despite all of the hardships of being a high school freshman, this has been one of the best years of my life. I realized that I would be losing everyday spent with my friends, going to my favorite classes, staying after school, and all the seniors that will inevitably graduate, but I also realized that next year has the potential for being even better. I know that things might seem bad when you first notice them, but that shouldn't keep you from taking another look. Learn to take a second glance at a bad situation. ♥

Lots of News

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I've had a lot to do. I'll be brief as I tell you everything. I've had rehearsals everyday after school for quite a while, I had spring break and a spring break trip to Colorado, my baby sister was finally born, I turned 15, and I had lots of school. I promise I'll eventually post something meaningful and thought provoking. ♥
