George Washington

In U.S. History, we talked about George Washington's "Farewell Address," in which Washington gave America 3 warnings. They were (basically):
  1.  Stay neutral, and stay out of any foreign wars,
  2. Good governments stick to their morals, and
  3. Political parties are dangerous, so don't become part of them.
George Washington was smart and knew what he was talking about, but did people listen? No. What happened? War, debt, chaos. So, I say to former president George Washington, thank you for your words of wisdom, but apparently only 13 year old U.S. History students, who are required to, listened to what you had to say. ♥
